This week I picked up my work from Michael's Downtown after a nice long run. It was very enjoyable to go eat there and see my art hanging. I've seen it in a lot of snapshots, too. Good place for being seen. Lydia Host and Mary Elizabeth Kimbrough are having a joint show there now. What I saw of it as it was being hung looked terrific, as always. Everyone should go take a look - and eat!
Tomorrow (if it's not raining) I'll go get my work back from the Semmes library branch. That was a short run, but always good to see work in a fresh new venue. Now I will have lots of frames to swap out for the new stuff for the upcoming shows.
